TRANSCRIPT:Â Typically if you're a pedestrian and you're hit by an uninsured motorist, you still can collect for your injuries. Most insurance policies will let you collect as a pedestrian. So if you have an auto policy and you're hit by someone that doesn't have insurance, your auto policy typically will protect you from such incidences and allow you to make a recovery, even if you're a pedestrian. It it not a general rule. Each policy and insurance company is different. But if your insurance company allows it, you can recover for said damages.
