Michael is a Chicago native and dual graduate of Northern Illinois University. Michael received a Bachelor’s degree in the area of Corporate & Organizational Communication in 2008. While working towards his degree, Michael was a five-time member of the Dean’s List for his academic performance, recipient of the Zimmer Family Foundation Scholarship, and a founding member of a new student organization. In 2010 Michael enrolled in the NIU College of Law, where he served as member to several student organizations, participated in mock trial competitions, and ultimately graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor degree.
Since being sworn in as a member of the Illinois State Bar, Michael has focused almost exclusively on workers’ compensation. He has represented the interests of both employees and employers during countless settlement negotiations and hearings before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. Michael no longer serves as legal counsel for employers, with 100% of his energy and practice dedicated to helping injured workers’ collect the benefits and settlements they’re entitled to.
